Online-Festival für postkoloniale Perspektiven auf die Kultur auf dem Land

<<English below>> In vielen Städten in Deutschland und Europa arbeiten verschiedene Initiativen daran, Geschichten sichtbar zu machen, die durch eine koloniale Weltanschauung ausradiert werden sollten. Aber wie sieht es in den ländlichen Gebieten aus? Welche Verbindungen gibt es hier zur Kolonialgeschichte? Auf welche Weise manifestieren sich hier koloniale Kontinuitäten? Dies sind einige der Fragen, die wir uns zu dem Thema stellen und zu denen wir uns in einem Online-Festival auf den ländlichen Raum konzentrieren möchten. Diese Fragen wollen wir dabei aus einem postkolonialen Blickwinkel heraus angehen. Dabei möchten wir insbesondere über mögliche Auswirkungen nachdenken, die eine Dekolonisierung auf unsere soziokulturelle und politische Bildungsarbeit haben könnte. Wir wollen anfangen, uns zu fragen, was wir anders machen können.

Das Online-Festival.  Drei Tage mit thematischem Input, Talks, Workshops, Performance und Networking.  Das Festival richtet sich an Schwarze/Indigene/Menschen of Color (BIPOC), die in der kulturellen, künstlerischen oder politischen Bildung arbeiten, Aktivist*innen, Künstler*innen, Community-Organizers deren Lebens- oder Arbeitserfahrungen mit der ländlichen Welt verbunden sind. Es richtet sich aber auch an BIPOC, die sich an der Reflexion über das Ländliche beteiligen wollen. Wir wollen vor allem BIPOC-Menschen Raum geben, um sich zu verbinden und Wissen zu teilen und zu schaffen.

Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos, eine Anmeldung ist jedoch erforderlich.

Online festival for postcolonial perspectives on culture in the rural areas

 In many cities in Germany and Europe, various initiatives are working to make visible histories that were supposed to be erased by a colonial worldview. But what about in rural areas? What connections are there here to colonial history? In what ways do colonial continuities manifest themselves here? These are some of the questions we want to ask ourselves about the topic, and we want to focus on rural areas in an online festival. We want to approach these questions from a postcolonial perspective. In particular, we want to think about the possible effects that decolonisation could have on our socio-cultural and political educational work. We want to start asking ourselves what we can do differently.

The Online Festival. Three days of thematic input, talks, workshops, performance and networking. The festival is aimed at Black/Indigenous/People of Color (BIPOC) who work in cultural, arts or political education, activists, artists, community organizers whose life or work experiences are connected to the rural world. But it is also aimed at BIPOC who want to participate in reflection on the rural. Above all, we want to give space to BIPOC people to connect and share and create knowledge. Participation is free, but registration is required.
